How To

Unlike a copy shop who will require you to set up your own page with multiple designs before copying or printing, we have a prepress department who will fit as many of your designs onto one page sheet as possible. You can send us your design in the exact final size of your project (with bleeds) and we will set it up to print in the most economical way. For more information, visit our page on setting up your document for print.

This solution will make your company run more efficiently and profitably by streamlining your business processes, maximizing your resources and eliminating redundant operations.

The type of paper used for difference purposes is expressed in weight and in the US system it is Pound (lb).

The paper used for writing/printing (letterheads and such stationery) is generally 50 to 100 lbs and is called text stock. Anything heavier than this is considered the card stock or cover stock, i.e. the paper used for business cards, postcards, greeting cards, etc.

Coated papers are available in two finishes – glossy (shiny and smooth) and matt (flat and lusterless). Coated glossy papers reflect the light evenly so they are suitable for almost all types of printing jobs. Glossy papers have a good ink holdout, which is important for creating sharp, bright images.

Printing

We offer PDF proofs that are sent electronically via email through our online proofing system. For a small fee, we also offer an optional One Off Proof, which is one hard copy of your project mocked up and printed digitally.

Each job is unique, so we will give you an approximate finish date when we give you a price estimate on your job. We are able to finish your job much more quickly if we have all files at the time you place your order.

We prefer a PDF format with bleed and trim marks included. We also accept Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop files. If files are submitted in any other format, they are subject to review prior to printing the job.

Our system supports RGB (red, green, blue) for producing digital prints. We have accurately mapped color pallet to match RGB to CMYK (cyan, magenta, yellow, key) to ensure proper 4-color printing.

300 dpi (dots per inch) is the resolution of the output PDF file.  It is also important to make sure that your images and other graphics are at least 300 dpi when creating your file intended for printing. If your images are a lower dap, they may appear blurry when printed.

Please Note: Simply changing from a smaller resolution to a larger resolution will not solve the blurriness problem. The only way to ensure high quality printing is to start with a high resolution image.

We offer offset printing, digital printing, and a wide range of printing methods in our Signs and Graphics department. All will provide a high quality output for your printing project.

Pricing

No, the price list indicates basic prices of products against the speculative quantities. The prices are calculated with regard to the most basic paper/card types, sizes and single side printing. As you know, the final printing cost depends on many parameters: paper/card weights or thickness (GSM/Pt), glossy or matt finish, 2 or 4 colors, square or rounded corners, single or double side printing, quantity, destination shipping charges and the mode of transport. Please use the indicative prices for calculating the basic cost. Once you place the order using the above parameters, we will quickly mail you the final, exact cost.
